That means what is necessary to provide competitive financial products and services – no more. Our credit union will protect your personal information. Our credit union will maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information in our files and computers is protected. Where appropriate, we will use security-coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal records, ensure accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions, and protect member confidentiality. Our credit union will only share information when absolutely necessary. We will only share information to to administer the products and services we provide, when required to do so by law, or when we partner with other business to offer a broader array of products and services. Our credit union will partner only with business that follow strict confidentiality requirements. The business we select will offer products designed to enhance our members’ economic well being. Under no circumstances will we authorize these firms to charge your account without you express consent, and will not sell member information to telemarketing firms. It is the Member’s Responsibility to keep your information current so that the credit union can ensure accurate mailing to help you keep their information secure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING NEW ACCOUNTS

American-FlagTo help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you:  When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We will also ask for a photocopy of your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
